Electrical Wiring, Troubleshooting, and Repair Services

Issues with your electrical system can happen at the most inopportune times. We provide service for a wide range of electrical issues such as;

  • Flickering lights
  • Circuit breakers tripping
  • Dead outlets
  • Warm or buzzing outlets, panels, and other electrical devices
  • Sudden loss of power to a room
  • Appliance, or other electrical devices not working
  • Any other electrical issues you are experiencing

It’s extremely important to never ignore warning signs that your electrical system is presenting to you! These issues are usually an indication that something needs replacement or repair. Just like your car, if you replace a small part once it wears it may keep you from bigger repair costs down the line!

Many electrical problems start small—like a loose connection or an aging component—but they can turn into hazards if ignored. If you’re having any of the problems above, or any other concerns, have it taken care of immediately so it doesn’t become a larger, even more inconvenient issue!

Beyond troubleshooting, we also handle a wide range of all other electrical repairs you may need such as;

  • Replacement of fans, switches, and outlets
  • Install of new wiring
  • Repairs of existing equipment
  • Fix faulty wiring
  • Upgrading electrical panels
  • Installation of EV chargers
  • Smoke detectors
  • Lighting
  • All other types of electrical repairs

If you need us for anything or if you’re unsure what type of service you need, call us or contact us online to speak with any of our representatives that will get you started in the right direction. If an in-person visit is needed, an adult (18+) must be home during service so we can discuss findings and options

What to Do if You Notice Flickering Lights or Burning Smells

Flickering or dimming lights can be a simple or more complex issue. It can be as simple as an incompatible LED bulb or dimmer switch, or as complex as needing new wiring installed. Sometimes, the issue is with your utility company. If you are experiencing these conditions, we encourage you to contact your power company to check their connections by contacting their emergency line. Once it’s determined that the issue is inside your home, contact us to get started on repairing these issues

If you notice a burning smell, warm outlet, or buzzing panel, turn off the circuit if you can safely do so. These symptoms may indicate loose wiring, overloaded circuits, or failing component issues that can lead to electrical fires. Stop using that outlet or circuit and contact us immediately

Safe Checks You Can Do Before We Arrive

While you should avoid opening panels or touching wiring yourself, here are a few simple and safe things you can check prior to our appointment. We encourage you to avoid DIY electrical repairs, as small mistakes can lead to dangerous results

1. Test Your GFCI Outlets

GFCIs protects bathrooms, kitchens, basements, garages, and outdoor areas. If an outlet isn’t working, see if a nearby GFCI has tripped. Reset it if needed—but if it won’t reset, it may need replacement.

2. Look for tripped circuits

A tripped breaker often sits between ON and OFF and feel “springy”. Flip it fully OFF, then back ON to reset it. If it won’t reset, let us handle it

3. Try Nearby Switches

Sometimes outlets are controlled by wall switches, especially in rooms without overhead lighting

4. Keep Essential Items Powered

If none of the above issues restore power to your outlet, and it controls an important appliance such as a refrigerator, internet router, medical device, or other critical equipment, you can temporarily power it from a different working circuit with an extension cord. Keep in mind this is a temporary fix until we can get out there to make your repair!
